A Coastal Dream: Kate and Brad's Memorable Spring Wedding
Spring weddings often evoke a sense of renewal and beauty, and Kate and Brad’s celebration was no exception. Their wedding at the Grand Geneva Resort Chalet was a symphony of elegance and charm, highlighted by a stunning blue and white color palette. The choice of hydrangeas, delphiniums, and apple blossoms created a floral dreamscape that was both serene and vibrant. The Chalet was transformed with a lush floral chandelier, hydrangea runner on the head table and intimate candlelight throughout the reception.
One of the most memorable aspects of Kate and Brad's wedding was not just the aesthetic beauty, but the genuine kindness and warmth that the couple exuded. For nearly a year before their wedding day, I collaborated with Kate on designing her floral arrangements. Building a strong connection with a client, exchanging ideas and visions, and witnessing everything come to fruition is truly a unique and rewarding experience. It's often said that the spirit of the couple sets the tone for the entire event, and Kate and Brad's kindness was truly infectious, creating an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie not only for their guests, but also for their vendors.
For me personally, this wedding held an extra layer of significance. Just three weeks postpartum, I found myself balancing the joys and challenges of new motherhood with my professional responsibilities. Bringing my newborn to work was an adventure in itself, but the love and support from everyone at the event made it a memorable experience. Kate and Brad’s wedding was a testament to the beauty of life’s milestones – both personal and shared – and the extraordinary moments that arise when love, kindness, and community come together.
